In partnership with Lapan Alumni and Community Sponsors, The Lapan Sunshine Foundation offers a number of scholarship opportunities for our Lapan College and Career Club, Inc. students.
THE PATRICIA LAPAN EXCELLENCE IN SERVICE SCHOLARSHIP

The Patricia Lapan Excellence in Service Scholarship is an award given to Lapan students who have shown an outstanding commitment to service within the various Lapan programs offered at the Lapan Clubhouse. These include our Cross-Age Peer Mentoring Program, El Jardín Community Garden, Coaching in our Lapan Scholar Soccer League, Lapan Robotics Club, Lapan Art Club, Lapan Rock Band, and Lapan Pet Therapy.

THE NAOMI DE LA ROSA HUMANITARIAN AWARD

The Naomi De La Rosa Humanitarian Award was established in 2022 by the Lapan College & Career Club to honor Lapan college seniors who have distinguished themselves through service to the community while maintaining academic excellence and high ethical standards in their personal lives.
THE STRAUSE EMPOWERING IMMIGRANTS SCHOLARSHIP (SEIS)

The Strause Empowering Immigrants Scholarship (SEIS) was founded in 2022 by Howard and Shawna Strause in partnership with the Lapan Sunshine Foundation and Lapan College and Career Club. This scholarship aims to provide essential support to immigrant, first or second-generation students enrolled in 2-year or 4-year institutions or specialist certification programs, with the goal of removing barriers to achieving successful outcomes.
JOHN ASIGBEKYE "FULL CIRCLE" STEM SCHOLARSHIP

The John Asigbekye "Full Circle" STEM Scholarship was founded in 2022 by John Asigbekye in collaboration with the Lapan Sunshine Foundation and the Lapan College and Career Club. It is a dedicated scholarship for students pursuing post-secondary education at colleges or universities, focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) careers.
