Lapan College & Career Club
Through the Lapan College & Career Club, students in the underserved Wakefield community of South Tucson earn scholarships for college through academic achievements starting in 6th grade. The program provides 10 free after-school programs that support students' academic journeys and offers mentorship through college and beyond.
OUR IMPACT
The Lapan College & Career Club has had a profound impact on our students, with many going on to achieve remarkable success in a variety of fields. Our alumni include Bill Gates Millennium Scholars, Truman Scholars and Marshall Scholars, as well as doctors, lawyers, engineers, teachers and business owners.

WHAT WE DO
The Lapan College & Career Club is a community program serving the Wakefield community of South Tucson. Starting in 6th grade, every student at C.E. Rose, Hollinger & Wakefield Middle School can begin earning money toward their post-secondary education. We provide economic resources, academic tools, cultural experiences, and professional development that guide and mentor students toward achieving their highest aspirations.
